"I was out of work and on disability at the time that I filed for my bankruptcy...I filed it myself. I had garnishments that were taking 25% of my weekly paychecks. I couldn't afford to pay my bills, the garnishments, or hire an attorney. The trustee was wanting to garnish my paychecks to pay a large sum of money to a couple of the creditors.
